In a webinar, you will watch a real-time video stream presentation by an Education Lab instructor. Participants ask questions via a chat section next to the video player. Only the instructor is seen and heard. You will not use your own device's camera or microphone.

Start times published on the Education Lab portal are UTC. Be sure to know your corresponding local time.

Ensure that you have a solid connection to the internet and join the webinar a few minutes before the scheduled start time. You can ask Education Lab technicians for assistance by clicking the Tech Support link beneath the video player on the course page.

If you cannot join the lesson at the scheduled time, a recording will remain on the course page, which you can view at your convenience. In addition, instructors will remain available to answer questions in the chat room for one week beyond the live lesson.

For some webinars, as posted, you will receive tasting samples before the lesson.

💡
We recommend that you have (6) olive oil tasting glasses for use during tasting webinars. They are widely available online.

After the lesson, you will receive an assessment to complete if you wish to receive a certificate for the course.
